Maneki Konekos Are Almost Ready…

We had a Thursday evening class on July 02nd and this was a chance to finish up our projects for the summer, and an upcoming teapot show. The Maneki Koneko sugar bowl glazed successfully and is seen here with the unpainted sugar bowl. The box in the background contains the Maneki Neko teapot in bubble wrap, all set for the show. The commentary on the side attests to our pothole-riddled roads.

The Maneki Koneko sugar bowl as seen from the top – looking content with the ball of yarn.

I stained the fishing float part of the creamer French Green.

The stained creamer before it was dunked in clear glaze sitting next to the finished sugar bowl (with another teapot in the background).
