At the start of this term in pottery class, I planned to make some pinch pot dome tea light lamps, one of which would have a Canada motif to it. I made the ball at the same time the Maneki Koneko sugar bowl and creamer were formed, but did not get back to it until 6 weeks later. I started carving out the word Canada in a stylized font I created and will continue from there. The pinch pot dome is close to a centimetre thick in some places.
